Love the concept of this book! Here’s a little about it:
There are not many times in a person’s life where they are presented a second chance. As Henry David Thoreau once said, “the mass of men lead lives of quiet desperation.” Â “A Moment’s Notice” chronicles the lives of four people who are racing through life letting it’s busyness lead them to make choices not out of passion or purpose, but for convenience sake. Then out of nowhere comes a surprise interruption which lead them to slow down, and consider whats really important. The choices and decisions they make will lead them down roads they never dreamed of and effect not only them personally, but those closest to them as well.”
Here is my personal endorsement of the book:
Life is busy–frantic, even. We all say we need to slow down, but few of us really do–unless destiny steps in and forces the issue. In A Moment’s Notice, author Victoria Lynn Deviney chronicles the lives of four people, racing through life with no clear destination, only to be interrupted in a way that will not only impact them, but others as well. Don’t miss this thought-provoking read!
